| 1. Hi, Anna. Can you tell us the name of your website and the types of items you offer? The Plaid Pumpkin. We offer a great variety of primitive handmades at reasonable prices. Extreme primitive dolls, raggedys, seasonal, candles, soaps and a variety of other home decor items. We also offer wholesale. 2. I see that you have a wonderful variety of primitive goods on your website. I really love your creations! How long have you been crafting? As most crafters I think this starts at a really early age. And for me, my mom was my biggest influence. She was always busy creating something from nothing. Something I seemed to have gotten onto myself. I have been on the web for a lil over 5 years. Though I spent a good 15 years doing the show circuit and in home parties. 3. How did you get started with your business? Took the jump. Just did it. And never looked back. Lots of trail and error. 4. Do you offer your items anywhere other than your website? Oh sure, I also have all of my one of a kind primitives on ebay. My seller ID is Folkartfair. 5. What advise would you give to others who are thinking of starting their own website or selling their crafts and wares? DO IT! Specially if your in the mid range age...ya know...kids are pretty much independent...perhaps already moved out. Great therapy...you meet all sorts of wonderful people...get a friend to join you. And above all DO NOT GET DISCOURGED! It takes time to get a good following...but it will come. 6. What is your biggest challenge in your business. TIME! Nuf said!!!!
